We booked a room here last fall and a week before departure from Sweden, the hotel cancels us because they could not withdraw money from our account, even though the hotel should have paid on site. We have tried to contact Tamarind Twin Resort both by email and phone, as well as booking.com but no response. The days we would stay there would cost 1800 SEK and a few days later our room came out again for 4200 SEK. Of course they canceled us and made a little extra money on someone else. Really bad done by Tamarind Twin Resort and thank you for ruining our planned days on Koh Lanta!!

The staff are friendly and check in was easy, but we didn’t see any of the staff for our whole stay after check in, no idea where they were. We kept having to go to the other hotel next door to ask queries and to call for a lift to the pier. We left our make up room sign on the door at 8am and when we got back at 5pm it still hadn’t been cleaned. Nevertheless, the beds are very comfortable, everything is super clean and the Wi-Fi works great in the rooms. The television also works perfectly and you can watch Netflix etc. The pool is great and you are provided with towels and all shower products except body wash. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Tamarind Twin resort is a very comfortable resort, clean, modern large rooms, very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space & a nice bathroom, the hot water is hot just not very fast coming out of the shower. The staff are friendly & very helpful. Breakfast is available at a cute little cafe 50m away at very reasonable prices & good food. Tamarind is easy to find, they also hire scooters & about 10mins by scooter from Ban Saladan port/town. Also lots of Tuk Tuks around if you need a taxi. The resort is walking distance around 100mtrs from the beautiful Long Beach of white sand & turquoise sea. The resort also has a nice pool. Definitely would stay again.
