Baan Ja Id

The Hotel has rooms with private bathroom and window. The rooms in the front have a balcony and a view. All rooms have AC and hot water showers. It's a family business more commonly known in Ao Nang as Ja-Id Pad Thai for the Pad Thai they sell on the street every evening. The monthly rate is unbeatable in Ao Nang so close to the beach but the main street outside is a bit noisy.

This well-furnished villa located at Ao Nang area. I recommended to hire villa airport transfer service ( 1000THB for 8 pax) because local taxi may not find the place easily due to the fact that it is not a typical hotel. It is also cheaper compare to the airport taxi. We arrived in two groups. My friend and i arrrived earlier so we hired a taxi at the airport. The driver brought us to a travel tour agent ( purposely, we guessed) before sending us to our villa. He could not find the villa, in the end, we called villa for help. 4-rooms villa with a swimming pool, well-equipped with all cooking utensils, toiletries, a phone for local calls ( especially useful to contact driver and villa manager), wifi, tv, bbq tools, etc. Great for families and big group of friends like us! Sara, villa manager welcomed us warmly even though we arrived unexpectedly earlier. She helped us to arrange value worth tour package! We took two packages: rafting-flying fox-ATV-monkey show-elephant show-fish spa-waterfall and 4 islands hopping tour. We were very satisfied with the tours: good tour guides and confortable. Thumbs up also to our driver, Phong, who always served us with friendly smile and brought us to good place! Daily housekeeping also included which saved us from all the hassle. Highly recommended! Definately worth for re-visit!

It was a 3 night stay for us 7 girls. Overall it's pretty okay, just a little run down. Be careful of bug coming into the house. I'm not talking about small bugs but also spiders. We had to kill a spider the size of my palm the first night. Otherwise it is alright, could be a little overpriced.
