Loei Pavilion Resort Hotel

Everything was ok except for the bed. Hardest bed I’ve ever slept on . The rooms were clean and spacious. Good parking and helpful staff. Nice grounds. I don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel but the bed.

The rooms were quite spacious with thoughtful amenities like hairdryer & hand towels. The organic face/bodysoap & organic shampoo were a lovely touch. Really loved the smell & effectiveness of the organic face/body glycerin soap. Larger versions of the organic toiletries are for sale at the check-in counter for customers. A great surprise was its Coffee Roaster & Restaurant downstairs that serve wonderful brewed espresso coffee with latte art to boot. The restaurant really sets this place apart and make it the refreshing jewel in the midst of a small town. The menu looked good with a range of western and fusion food and tantalising western desserts. I had the opportunity to enjoy one of them which was a large platter of buttery brioche toast served with a large scoop of decent ice cream (flavour of your choice), slices of apples, oranges, kiwi, a scoop of whipped cream and a mini jug of honey. Only cost THB115. If I had time I would have gladly indulged in it again the next day but sadly I was too busy to do so. This place has great potential, lovely manicured grounds and the staff are courteous and efficient. If I were in Loei again I would definitely stay there again or at least visit the restaurant for a brewed cuppa.

I have been visiting Loei for several years and for some reason have never stayed here. After unsatisfactory stays at other hotels in the area, I found this hotel on TA and recently stayed for 2 nights. The property is a little away from the center of Loei town - opposite the Social Security Office - and set back from the main road. It was easy to find and accurately marked on Google Maps. Reception staff were efficient and check-in was quick. The room was very clean and although decor was basic there was very little, if anything, to fault. The beds were comfortable - I would call the mattresses medium hardness, aircon was quiet, plenty of hot water in the shower (no bath), with basic toiletries provided. Internet was super-quick (for Thailand) - around 50mbps. There was a flat-screen TV which I did not check out the cable on, and also a small refrigerator and room safe. An adequate breakfast was provided, and ample car parking spaces. A Tesco Lotus minimart is across the road 2 minute's walk away, and within 5 minute's drive there are several decent local restaurants. I will definitely be back on my next visit as the hotel was extremely quiet (something not easy to find in this town it seems) and clean.
