Suan Sampran

I used to visit this hotel several time a year. This time I bring my Mom to celebrate my birthday here as I hope everything should be fine same as the past. When I check in, the guy ask some question like how do you want to pay the room fee, even I already paid by agoda. It's mean he did not check any information before communicate to customer. I also ask him to book restaurant for dinner, he seem not 100% willing to help us. Next day at 7am, maid know the door and want to check the mini bar. I ask her that why you come so early and i am not check out yet. She just said she don't know but she have to do as front desk call her to do ??? I call to complaint at front office but she just say sorry. I was so disappoint as it disturb our vacation. I ask to meet with manager but no one contact me. Until I have to check out early at 9 so front desk ask me to wait and manager want to meet me. I said that I have no time to meet and why don't contact my immediately after got my feedback. So this is the last time that I will visit here and I will not recommend this hotel to my friend and family

Very beautiful sceneries with a truly organic experience,just an hour drive from Bangkok downtown. Our river view room is clean though it looked a bit old. Breakfast at restaurant served meal from local organic farm. Coffee with coconut milk at Pathom organic cafe is outstanding plus authentic Thai desserts which are very tasty and very impressed. Service of hotel and restaurant staffs is excellent.

I've stayed at Suan Sampran (Sampran Riverside) numerous times over many years. It's an awesome place, affordable (pricewise), and the cleanest hotel I've experienced in Thailand. Beautifully maintained grounds, riverside location, various Thai - related cultural activities, great swimming pool, and most of all, excellent staff. Front desk personnel have always been extremely helpful and accommodating - service with a smile!. I count this hotel to be in the top 1% of best of the best. Definitely a 5 star establishment.
