The views from the hotel are exceptionally beautiful and deserve a full 5/5. The staff were also friendly and helpful, so they also receive 5/5. However, the biggest disappointment of our stay was that the swimming pool was completely unavailable. According to the hotel’s own notice, the pool renovation was not supposed to begin until the autumn, but the pool was already closed in July. We were not informed about this in advance, even though the swimming pool was one of the main reasons we chose this particular hotel. After reading reviews from other guests, I discovered that the pool had already been out of use for quite some time. The hotel should therefore have been fully aware of the situation well in advance. Despite this, we received no prior notice, explanation or compensation. This was a major disappointment and, in my opinion, very poor communication with guests. We requested a renovated room but were given the honeymoon villa instead. The villa was very spacious, but it was clearly worn and in need of a thorough renovation. There was also deeply ingrained dirt on several surfaces that could no longer be removed through normal cleaning. Unfortunately, the beautiful views and good staff are not enough to compensate for the closed swimming pool, poor communication and worn facilities. I cannot recommend this hotel until it has been properly renovated and the swimming pool is confirmed to be fully operational again.

We were excited before we arrived at this place, so it was incredibly good online. Had probably been good at some point in the time, but in several places the decay had started to tear on the hotel’s contents and facades. But fine enough for a couple nights. Otherwise it must be mentioned that cleanliness, service and breakfast got passed.

Unfortunately, this is a really bad review, the facility is actually extremely beautifully laid out, but it is inconceivable how an exclusive facility like this has run down so much in 15 years. The rooms are dirty and especially the bathroom full of lime stains and rust. Just a shame. On Friday, wedding parties are often held at the hotel next to it, which are very loud, so don't forget earplugs. Also the pool area nicely landscaped but dirty, lots of leaves in the pool etc... Very bad, we would have liked to come back, but here in Konom there are much better and nicer facilities for the money.
