Ban Suan Huan Nan Hotel

a comfortable and very reasonably priced hotel with breakfast. the breakfast not so good for foreigners :-) unless you like congee and boiled egg. also if don't have a car, recommend not staying here as quite a bit away from the main road.

Firstly the negative - it's too far from the centre of town to stay without a car or bike (motorised or otherwise) unless you don't mind fairly lengthy walks, but for us it was just too hot for much of that (37 degrees). I can't really pick any faults with the place apart from that. There's virtually no English spoken but it isn't really set-up for farang tourists (yet). Even so the staff were delightfully friendly and helpful within the scope of their minimal English and our minimal Thai. The rooms were attractive, reasonably spacious, and shiny clean. The beds were great and the neighbourhood was peaceful. The included breakfast was OK, though none of us are congee/jok fans, though the second morning was fried eggs. There's also help-yourself toast, jams, fruit, juice, tea and instant coffee.
