Magnificent! The hotel exudes a classic luxurious grandeur, is however also larded with playful present day frivolities! Marble tiled bathrooms and elegant wooden furniture. Everything functions the way it should do, it's clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. This was the third time I stayed here over a period of several years and I am sure it wasn't the last.

I stayed here 22 years ago, after looking at recent reviews although bad, thought I would take the chance out of nostalgia. Guys this hotel is the worst hotel i have been to since my back packing days in my 20s. The hotel is run down, the rooms are frankly disgusting. I am sorry to say this, as 20+ years ago it was an ok provincial Thai hotel, also sorry to give such a bad review as I know people working there rely on the income. I will add, after checking in and immediately checking out, they gave us a full refund next day.

Stayed here before & it wasn't quite so bad. Dirty room. Cold water. Noisy A/C BUT THE WORST - noisy drunks leaving the "night club" at 1.30am. The place is just so run down. The only saving grace was the food in the restaurant upstairs was good & the lone waitress was a star. Got to be better places near by.
