Fun-D Boutique Hotel

Just a quickie on our trip from Bangkok to Khao Lak. This place is ok. Set back from the Cha Am bypass you wouldnt want a week here but it was ok for an overighter. They could do with cleaning the rooms a little better but, hey, you get what you pay for. Right?

My whole family had an enjoyable stay with great Thai hospitality! I highly recommend this hotel for people who are having a short or long stay. There are enough facilities and shopping centers to go to or just relax in the swimming pool with great view. Or go to the beautiful beach. Also very nice night markets to go to.

We needed a night stop en route from Buriram to Phuket and came across this 'motel' near Cha-am. We needed a family room and were shown a very neat and tidy double room with an additional bed. It was very modern with an excellent shower. We needed an evening meal which wasn't available ... and were directed back onto the main road and retraced our steps to The Cowboy restaurant [which I'll review separately]. The only minor issue was that the extra bed didn't come with a pillow and we couldn't find the night staff to ask for one --- but there were a number of cussions ... so a good light's sleep was had by all. Breakfast was good ... even eggs and ham! Reasonable coffee too. The Motel has a swimming pool ... which we checked out ... very clean too.
