Rublom Resort

This hotel is interesting...on the beach side of the road it has some very new looking formulaic boxes which are beautifully, simply furnished and on the land side more traditional Thai style individual bungalows on stilts with full wall windows and a balcony. The prices on the beach side were double those of the land side cottages, although they did not have the advantage of the pool. Our stay was in a land side bungalow planted with mature trees all around, so equally surrounded by birds and butterflies and feeling like it was our own small piece of forest. Very clean room and bathroom and all the usual mod cons such as aircon, fridge, tv, came as standard. ABF or Thai style breakfast was also included. The location is close to the main part of the town, so making it easy to walk to restaurants and is only 2 minutes from the beach.
