Baumancasa Beach Resort

It's our first trip to Thailand and it was a success! The hotel is the best experience. Checked into the hotel after 15h, so check-in was immediately upon arrival, deposit 1000 baht, returned upon check-out. Things on the day of eviction are placed in the storage room without payment, but it's just room after reception, no one is watching things there much-access is free. We moved into the 5th building on the 2nd floor, the view from the balcony was to the backyard (the bush) and the big Buddha far away on the mountain (the view behind), the room is noisily working a conder (slept only with it), but very quickly got used to it, it felt like sleeping to the noise of the waves. Cicadas sing outside all night, but with a closed balcony, complete noise isolation and silence. The room itself is not very new, but clean, there is a huge bed with a comfortable mattress and magic quality bed linen-sleep great, hairdryer, fridge, safe, kettle, every day bring 2 bottles of water and coffee in bags, the shampoo in the hotel was also some magic (I am for the first time in Thai, probably it is just quality goods, not used to us), there were no dental kits. Normally there are small ants, you will understand this if you leave something on the table of food, if you leave nothing, then you do not feel their presence. Eating in rooms is not prohibited (although in some other hotels is strictly prohibited), but we if we did eat fruit, then everything was thrown away in bags and ants did not come to us. There was no other animal in the rooms. Cleaning the rooms daily, I won't say what's perfect, but we had enough, every day they change used towels, bring water, take out the garbage, sweep the floor, about wet cleaning I'm not sure, they left 20 baht for tips every day, probably not much). The water in the shower is hot, the pressure is chic (it's very important to me). Breakfasts in my opinion are just great: eggs, omelets, glaze, sausages, local dishes (noodles, vegetables with meat), lots of greens, vegetables, salads, fruit, pastries are delicious. No porridge, but cereal. Coffee is custard (no coffee machine), but we enjoyed it, the juices are instant, but you can drink. Exchange office with favorable rate near the hotel to the right, literally one minute walk, change without passport, in that a little further ask to show passport. Small "Seven-Eleven" 2 minutes from the hotel to the right, big minute 5 walk. The massage parlour in the hotel, in my opinion, the best and the most affordable, is often busy, so I went to other massages a couple of times, but I didn't like it. There is laundry: laundry 50-60 baht, drying 50 baht, laundry product 10 baht, exchange for coins immediately. There's a hotel store a little more expensive than Seven-Eleven. The hotel staff is polite and responds promptly to requests. The hotel has three swimming pools: in the first building on the 5th floor there is a two-roof transition to the 2nd building, two saunas, there is a gym (is probably in the 2nd building-passed there on the roof from the pool area, went down the stairs-it is modest and stands empty, but you can study; in the pool area there are indoor and outdoor sun loungers-when the sea was stormy resting there, the third pool in the 5th building on the 2nd floor, it is smaller, but we were comfortable to go there from the room. There is no remote smoking area, so they smoked directly on deck chairs, which was very disruptive to leisure- we can't bear smoke cigarettes, were rarely there. On the 1st floor of the 5th building in the hall there are books to read, in Russian few, a couple of novels by Metlitskaya. To the beach walk 1.5 minutes, across a small road, at the crossing stands a hotel employee and regulates traffic, without him no one stops much. Karon beach is chic, spacious, but we went there twice a day (morning and evening for 1 hour) sunbeds did not occupy, prices for services provided on the beach do not know. Couple or three days there were big waves, went to Kata there even worse and the beach is tiny compared to Caron, no more driving. To Bangla Road, drive from the hotel by taxi about 20-40 minutes (if traffic jams) at the price of tuk-tuk 400 baht, taxi 300-380 baht, ride once, was not impressive. The hotel area is a very calm area, by 23 o'clock almost all the establishments are closed, but if you go from the hotel right to the ring and right again there is a very "moving" street, calmer of course than Bangla, but you can also sing and dance in the bars until the middle of the night, at the end of this street there is a cafe where you can eat the cheapest big fresh fish on fire (near our hotel it costs 350 baht, there was eaten for 200 baht), very delicious, other seafood there is also cheaper. Generally within walking distance of the hotel there are establishments for every taste and wallet. Fruit is cheaper if you walk from the hotel around the corner to the left, to the right a little more expensive, all next to each other. The guide from "Pegasus" with whom it is mandatory to meet on the 2nd day is peculiar (Kemi-read about him reviews earlier), but on the whole a great person who does his job well. The meeting, of course, is mainly devoted to the sale of excursions, but it is also possible to solve the issues with payment of the additional baggage, choice of seats on the plane and "fast track"-quick passage of passport and customs control. On the "fast track" you can not spend, and back and forth at the entrance to the passport control area check with the staff at the airport about it, for 200 baht per person you will be escorted without a queue (upon entering the country we took 15 minutes, on the return journey 2 minutes), without the fast track people were in line for about 1 hour 40 minutes; this does not apply to the baggage claim and check-in area, everyone is in line. At Pegasus, it costs about $55 per person (but includes a business room), I don't think it's worth it. As for the excursions from Pegasus - we all bought from them, we liked the organization, everything is clear, Russian-speaking guides and the group all, at prices more expensive by 100-200 baht than on the street near the hotel, but what organization there I do not know. We took the tour "Royal Islands", 2 days with overnight stay on the island "Lanta", very comfortable, everything is thought out, took a big yacht, I didn't even get sedated, although it was the most afraid, the group -all Russians and time lined up so that practically all the time on the island is only your group, there are no crowds of tourists, no one interrupts, on the yacht is a very cool team. As a gift for the purchase of a large tour they gave 4 as a gift (of course, it is clear that this is a marketing move, but still nice): they gave tickets to the water park-on-chic, definitely worth going to; the sightseeing tour "Kaleidoscope" is a type of "shopture", they take to the snake farm, the center where shark-fat-based drugs are produced and sold and to the royal pharmacy - long, obsessively, very expensive... for money I would not go there, but also included a visit to the temple of Wat Chalong, lunch in the jungle, a walk across suspension bridges, a visit to the Oceanarium and the big shopping mall, it brightened the trip and also we had just a gorgeous guide Catherine. We were also taken to the Phoenix Chinese Medical Center--nothing to waste--not one Chinese person's time and a full "breeder" and to the jewelry factory-- well there's something to see and the consultants are nice. Overall, we were happy with everything except the Phoenix. Kemi was always in touch and didn't let anything down, helping out with the little things-- we're grateful to him. The rest and hotel left the most wonderful impressions, clearly recommend "Baumankas"

The hotel leaves a lot to be desired! Let's go on vacation with the baby, it was rash to choose this hotel! Breakfast is good, no meat, no cheese, baby was extremely hard to feed, coffee is not! The numbers are all finished. The new building is even less of a number. The toilets in the photo are less than , but actually terrible. The only plus of the hotel, the sea is nearby, slit the road and the sea!

Great place to rest. This hotel stayed 6 times. It's all right, nothing too much. Everything's fine, the hulls are being repaired. We're fine with that. Hotel location is the most current, beach shops, everything is at hand. 3 pools are really cool.
