Karon Living Room Hotel

Relaxed at the hotel for almost a month. The room is spacious, clean, the balcony is large, practically unused. Safe, refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning available, beach towels on the front desk by signature, changed daily, water given daily. bottle per person. The hotel has a laundry area for free. It's not far from the sea. Nearby if you leave the hotel and go right hanging restaurant, liquor store (prices below), shop where Thais buy themselves, prices are lower than in Seven Eleven. If you go to the left - a flower shop (I was like a binge-drinking orchoholic passing through and crying, the price of dendrophalenopsis is 200 rubles (80 baht) but you cannot take it out and import it). If you go further - there is still a plant shop, there is a gift shop, where prices are as lower than elsewhere and a very friendly owner, but only opens in the evenings. (There's a sign on the store that the owner speaks Russian.) Further if you pass opposite the temple shop with durians, the owner is very welcome, prices are lower than elsewhere, we buy durians there for several years. Tuesdays and Thursdays there is a market - Kron Temple Market. We went twice, for souvenirs, as he loses his identity over the years. Breakfast at the hotel, menu. I liked the fruit, whipped with milk and granola. Like ice cream. Lunches were bought at Seven Eleven, a choice for all tastes, and they warm up. We had lunch in the room, dinner either in the cafe or we bought it from the top. The hotel liked the price/quality ratio, the staff is very friendly. Come back thinking more than once. When booking rooms, you should keep in mind - the hotel has no 4-storey lift. It was hard for me with a bad leg to get up to the fourth floor, there were no other rooms, but by the end of the rest, I kind of got used to it. The room was cornered, the walls were thin, heated up a lot during the day, but it wasn't critical, the air conditioning was pitted. Anyway, I strongly recommend it.

Value for money. Nice size room, quiet, comfortable, clean. Hot water small safe for valuables but not a laptop. Free tea, good coffee, and hot chocolate in the morning. 12 minutes walk to the beach. Many restaurants and bars close by. I would stay there again.

went to bar for a meal as wife found out on YouTube that they did western food (also Thai). I needed cottage pie :) wife had Thai. Food was great as was service. Deffo go back. Found location on Google maps right in Karon centre, off main "strip".
