Kamala Resort and Spa

"Had a great stay at Kalima Resort. The staff really made the trip, super attentive and friendly throughout, . Pang and Spoy behind the bar, who made really good drinks and was fun to chat with. Rooms were clean, service was quick, and overall just a solid, relaxing stay, would come back.

Room OK once AC was sorted but communal facilities are very tired. A situation that is acerbated by the Management Company's (Juristic) attitude of "ignore" and then "tough" and policy of charging but not providing. Many sun beds are broken, the gym has broken equipment and the defective AC was just removed and replaced with couple of fans! A couldn't care less attitude prevails which its well demonstrated by the quality of the TV reception which when queried just got a "there is a problem with the aerial" response! It's a great pity as this could be such a good place to stay but not with the current Management Company's attitude.

We arrived at the evening. Staff couldn´t find our reservation and so we have to pay one more time. They promised to fix the problem, but next day they just told us to call the booking website by ourself and ask to fix it on our own. In the end, the hotel staff was just to lazy to check the reservation e-mail from the booking agent. They breakfast was always to late, what pretty annoying for people with an early trip. The staff didn´t even let us wait inside the "restaurant". We could watch them how they were playing on their phone and doing nothing, instead to prepare they breakfast. While we were eating, the staff also took some food from the buffet... When we asked them something, they replied on a very unfriendly way. btw the breakfast is awful! On the day we checked out, the receptionist didn´t wanna give us our deposit back. It felt like this guy was on a drug trip. I asked many times and he just walked away. We went back to the reception one day later to solve the problem. This hotel has NO service at all.
