Very friendly staff. Cozy cottages with both pool and sea view. Good and affordable food and drinks. Good cleanliness and service. The only downside is that the sea has a very big difference between high and low tide, which leads to turbid water. In Chalong it is mostly Thais themselves who live so not much tourists there. The good thing is that the prices are lower than in Kata and Karon beach. Both on food and massage. Can warmly recommend this if you want peace and quiet.

This is a lovely little resort with an extremely helpful staff in a quiet location. Clean and comfortable rooms and a great pool. A great place to stay if you’re looking for some relaxation by the pool.

Wonderful resort clean and in fitting with the thai theme beautifully designed little units , booked with breakfast , friendly staff , beautiful views of the bay picturesque, stunning swimming pool designs - the 1 area to note though is that all major activities are at patong beach and we travelled to patong almost every day with the tuk tuk etc and that increased transport costs , other than this Aochalong was ideal for us
