Karon Bay Inn

the location is very close to the beach, the area full with restaurants and bars so if you stay in the rooms that face the main street it's very noisy and it's difficult to sleep, but the other side is better, the rooms are great, very clean and the staff is also very nice.

I will start by saying that I am not a hotel snob in the least. I will stay anywhere and can pretty much deal with the accommodations providing the sheets are clean, there aren't rodents, and its quiet. The review I read about the Karon Beach Inn HAVE to be planted by staff people, because there is no way we were at the same hotel! We arrived to the hotel after driving around for two hours in our cab, the reason we couldn't find it? Because NO ONE at any of the hotels around Karon Beach, or the cab driver had ever heard of it! When we finally arrive, we are in for a shock. The hotel is located DIRECTLY above a night club. The walls in our hotel room were vibrating, and dance music was loud and clear until 4 am the next morning. Not only could we hear the dance party down stairs, but we could also clearly hear the prostitutes yelling at people walking by on the street, and the band playing at the bar across the street. Oh, did I mention the room was disgusting, faded curtains, old thrift store furniture, and dirty stinky bedding? We felt like we had stepped in a little piece of hell. Please do not believe these other reviews, as I can promise they are false. Visit the hotel yourself and see....

Upon arrving in Karon beach, we discovered the place we booked online was a hole. We wandered checking guesthouses until we found the Karon beach Inn. Staff was great, rooms were very clean, bathrooms were great. If you walk in and book you may get a lower rate, as we did, 1000 baht per night over the busiest time of the year! highley recomended! Would definatley stay again!
