APK Resort and Spa

Shower is a bar with a curtain, a soap only shelf (not even a washcloth can be hung/put) and on the bare floor with a hole-drain. Naturally, we go in there in spanking, and then we come out in the wet. No hair dryer. For two, one gel and one millilitre shampoo, probably 50, maybe 20. Just two towels that were ingested. Not for the legs. The TV's not working. She said at reception, but nobody cares. On the balcony, the air conditioner stands on the floor and water flows from it, with which we enter the room with dirt. And that's a lot of trauma. There's nowhere to dry laundry. Although I brought a rope on purpose, but there's nowhere to tie it. In fact, the front door opens with a normal key, not a magnetic key. And the rooms in these years were of equal class and there's a lot to compare. I'm shocked. I don't even want to disassemble the suitcase because there are no shelves. Number 4611. She told the reception about everything. They offered to change it, but they brought it to the exact same room, in the same building. She refused because I don't see the point in carrying suitcases. Lived in different threes in economy, but this is the first time. Such numbers should not even be given to the homeless, much less rented.

The tour was booked through sun&fun. Now the hotel is called Cocoon resort 3* (there are separate reviews for it, like here https://www.tripadvisor.ru/Hotel_Review-g297930-d26323201-Reviews-Cocoon_APK_Resort_Spa-Patong_Kathu_Phuket.html). At the entrance to the hotel itself there is still a sign - APK resort&spa. Before this, we looked at the options for tours and reviews of it: it feels like people are being deliberately misled, so that it is not clear which hotel and building exactly - there are several of these apk and some reviews are clearly not for it. This one seems to be the 5th. There is only one hotel. We checked in on 03/18/24. The reception is in another building in the same building. Walk across the street from him. The air conditioner works well. There is Wi-Fi, it’s normal. There are thermopods and glasses. We didn't use it. Key to number one: it’s inconvenient if at lunch someone wants to lie under the air conditioner at home, and the second one goes to the pool, for example. The electrics turn off when the key is removed, as in all hotels. 2 pools: cold by the elevator below right in the building and heated on the roof in the main building. Both are small. There are no tables and chairs on the balcony, as in other reviews. Moreover, they are not in all the rooms, you can see it from the street. Breakfast is good, from 07 to 09-30, delicious; the waiters are polite and pleasant. The balconies are small, there are no chairs or drying racks. Close to the market and jungceylon shopping center, Bangla. The Phuketurk cafe with normal and inexpensive food is across the road (we had our eye on it and dined there all the time on our last visit). The hotel cafe is ok, but a little expensive. There is some European cuisine. Live music in the evenings. The hotel as a whole is very tired. Initially they gave me a terrible room (5303, 3rd floor): 1. Mold, dirt and ants in the bathroom 2. Torn curtains on the window 3. No TV (not that it was needed, but the very fact of the absence of what was stated) 4. There is water in the refrigerator; not condensation on the walls, but even, good puddles on both shelves 5. The toilet seat is torn, one of the two flush buttons does not work. 6. Plumbing leaks in all directions. 7. The stains on the table were painted over with some kind of floor paint. 8. The dressing table is very shabby, extremely unpleasant 9. Hair and dirt in an open bathroom drain 10. A transparent hole in the window that opens... into the corridor! (all rooms have such a window next to the bed) 11. A transparent sink on a layer of sealant half its diameter is simply like a separate form of art. Even for Asia and Thailand this is too much. They immediately sent everything with photos to the agent and went on their own to ask to move us. They showed a photo of everything described above at the reception. The girl (with glasses, young) told us to deal with the operator and flatly refused to do anything. When I began to insist and showed her a photo of the toilet and the table with the question “is this normal?”, she said twice with an absolutely impudent face that everything was fine, and they would call the refrigerator right now. I refused. A very unpleasant woman, it is unclear why she still works here. We went back to our room upset and called the operator directly. They said that they had received an application from the agent, please wait. When asked “how long to wait” they said up to two days. It absolutely killed me. As a result, the issue was resolved within an hour, we were moved to the same room nearby, but a little cleaner. In general photos it looks fine, but when you look closely... 😬 In the bathroom, there was a shampoo sticker left on the wall from the previous residents: no one has removed it yet. There is some gray dirt on the tile behind the shower. They only clean your rooms if you put up a sign. There is no cleaning schedule. Since 18.03 we have been cleaned three times upon request. Today 24.03 - they didn’t even clean up, although we left a sign before leaving for the beach. Bath towels were changed twice, linen was changed once. When we moved in, there was a hole in the side, they changed it to a sheet with stains like blood 🤢. The second time they gave us towels that were gray from age and unwashed. For several days they refused to change the beach towels for the friends on the floor below at all: they said that they were all out today, come back tomorrow. They bring 2 bottles of water ONLY when cleaning. That is, no cleaning - no water. Very strong audibility from the corridor and from neighboring rooms. Everyone's bathroom doors scrape across the floor. No noise can be heard from the street. The bottom line is the following. In the hotel itself, no one cares about you, the service is zero. No one will solve your problems. Thanks to the operator for help with relocation. We were pleasantly surprised. We will 100% not go to this hotel a second time. There are 3* hotels for the same money that are much cleaner and more hospitable. When purchasing a tour to hotels that have “APK” in the name, ask about the address and building number. The rooms are very bad, everything in the photo is not quite right, they don’t clean the room at all, literally 4 days have passed, asked to be cleaned, they said 1.5 hours, we’ll do everything, came in 2.5 as it was dirty and left, went to him, they said they will clean it now, time it was late, I just took new towels, maybe they will clean it tomorrow but I think not (((I don’t recommend
