Avantika Boutique Hotel

It was my first time booking at Avantika Boutique Hotel. I wanted a decent hotel with direct pool access. The staff were friendly although a little young but they were efficient. The room was very nice, and the pool access was excellent providing some privacy. It did not face the pool directly as some plants and bushes hung over our pool entrance but we felt this gave us more privacy unlike the other rooms where people in the pool could look into your room. On the whole a very nice hotel in quiet area.

An average stay at this hotel - furniture was old and dated and wifi kept on cutting out in the room. Location was not very near to Bangla Road or Jungceylon. Personally there are much better rooms at better prices around the area. The rates at this hotel is too high as in compared to the room and facilities provided. I chose as this was a boutique hotel but not so.

Stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel close to everything we needed. We had a pool access room so it was easy to just walk out & take a swim. Above the bar/restaurant was an area to look out over the water and watch the world go by. Would have been great to have some seating to relax. Andaman boat right at your doorstep if wanting tours. Best thing we found was we were on the beach without all the busy street noise. Not a 5 star place but we found it everything we needed for a great price. Would suit families or couples on a budget. Recommend the pool access room.
