Baan Lukkan Hostel

We stayed in a room on the third floor over-looking the nice pool. Our room was clean and the wifi worked well. From the hotel it is about a 20 minute walk to Patong beach. The beach was was wide and long but I was disappointed in the clarity of the water for I had expected it to be clearer. If you like crowded beaches and hawkers, go here. The Baan Lukkan is actually three entities on one property.1) Baan Lukkan Resort, which is a fairly new 6 or 7 story building with maybe 25-30 rooms. 2) The hostel rooms, I believe 2, where up to 6 or 8 people share a room. 3) And the older building around the pool with single rooms where we stayed. Only complaints; water pressure in shower sometimes only cold. For $25 a night, pretty good! They rent scooters close to Grocery store and many cheap restaurants. We were there 4 nights then moved on to Karon and enjoyed that area and beach much more.
