OYO 288 The Minotel Hotel near Patong Hospital

Very disappointing stay despite a good location. Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The premises are poorly maintained and this is apparent from the arrival. Very damaged furniture, lots of recovery so no harmony and coherence, aesthetic point of view. The bed linen was in an unacceptable condition, as were the stained bath towels. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Which is really problematic. The air conditioning malfunctioned. The furniture is very damaged and the windows in bad condition. Regarding equipment, the wi-fi connection does not work properly, making the TV unusable. We were surprised by the unprofessional behavior of the managers, it behaved as if they were at home in the lobby (lying on the couch, eating at the reception) with no real attention paid to customers. The only positive point, remains the location of the hotel as well as the receptionist, who is very kind and welcoming. Although the price remains affordable,We do not recommend this property as it stands.

Booked at the last moment as a fallback, bad dirt, practically a little hotel by the hour, attics 2 meters high, noisy air conditioning, the only positive note that is located in the nightlife and 200 meters from the beach, true that you spend little, but with something more you can feel better elsewhere

I feel compelled to express my frustration and disappointment regarding my stay at your hotel. What began as a promising experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Upon arrival, the room seemed decent, but very soon, numerous problems surfaced. After checking in, we faced an unexpected power outage. The air conditioning was so poorly insulated it froze, leading to extreme discomfort during these hot days. The bathroom situation became unbearable with the presence of pests such as mosquitoes, lizards, and even several cockroaches—absolutely unacceptable for an establishment of this price. There was no way to close the bathroom window, so you can expect a surprise animal each time you enter the bathroom. And after I caught them releasing these cockroaches right outside the door is unacceptable!!! To make matters worse, by the second day, I was left without essential supplies like toilet paper, indicating that even the basic necessities were not maintained. Given the severe inconvenience and the fact that I am paying for an experience far removed from your hotel's promises. Very old and dirty hotel overall. No compensation and no possibility to speak with or even call the owner/manager. Just look at the pictures and decide if you want to stay there.
