Paradise Beach Resortel

We arrived in Phuket and stayed just one night on our way to Phi, Phi. Rooms are very basic, what was amusing was that the safe inside the wardrobe was not secure, you could just have picked it up and taken it with you!!! It is a little walk away from the main town, but something I enjoyed doing. The room was just ok and what was needed just for the one night. The manager was very lovely and very helpful. For a cheap stop over, I dont think you could go wrong.

We were disappointed in our stay. Check in was prompt and efficient and we were shown to our room on fourth floor...no elevator! The Manager was very nice and friendly and spoke good english. Breakfast was coffee and two pieces of toast. The room was very basic. Bed was extremely hard. Bathroom/shower was all in one. Wifi was poor...when it worked. Air conditioning worked okay. The hotel was far from everything and it was in a poor area. The streets in this area are littered with garbage and the smell is not good. The manager did arrange for a City tour for us which we appreciated. There is a balcony but no chair to sit on and the traffic noise goes on most of the night.

Myself and my boyfriend ended up staying here as we missed the last ferry to Phi Phi. As far as cheap hotels go (£12 for the night) it's good, it's got a/c, an ensuite, fridge and deposit box. However, it is right next to a busy road and the windows are thin so it is loud through the night, there are spotlights shining up the hotel with no black out curtains to keep it out of your room, and there were bugs in our bathroom, I'm not sure what they are but there were a lot of them!
