Patong Inn

Nothing to complain,although abit outdated but the location beats everything up. Was Patong boutique hotel and renamed to 8080 hotel . Very near to soi bangla,jungceylon mall,beach.... we were arrived in the middle of the night yet they checked us in quite quick

I was apprehensive when I realized just how close this hotel is to Bangla Road. No need to worry, as it’s just far enough to mute the noise from nightclubs until 5 AM. The rooms are large and clean, and the beds are comfortable too. My only complaints were that I could not turn AC off, so it got cold, even when set at 30C - and that shower gel is not provided. At $50 per night, it seems appropriate. The pros far outweigh any cons, however. The location is spectacular, for beach, nightlife and for airport or other transport (don’t pay more than 170 Baht - tickets at reception desk). They will also take your laundry, but it’s much cheaper at many tour booking booths and other hotels nearby (don’t pay more than 50 Baht per kilo for one day service). The best part of 8080, however, is the ownership and staff. They are all warm and friendly, and that says a lot in this location. Let’s face it, Bangla Road attracts some of the most difficult travelers in the world. Thank you, 8080 Hotel!

This place was okay. The workers were very friendly. The hotel looked it it can use some updating, but then again, I get what I paid for. It didn't bug me much since I spent very little time in the room since I was out exploring Thailand the majority of the time.
