Hotel a bit old, but lovely staff. the room is basic, but clean. Water pressure is "non-existent" on the second floor. The shower is taken in a fine rain, which 'is neither practical nor pleasant. One nightstand, too bad. No elevator. Free Wifi of very good quality The pool on the ground floor is very small, and offers only 5 deckchairs. The hotel is at the bottom of a very quiet dead end road and close to MalinMarket (200 m) and close to the center (1km)

I am not a picky tourist, I have slept in tents/hotels and in total wilderness, but if you do not want to be disappointed, it is better to avoid this hotel. An old hotel, where everything needs renovation. Lobby, rooms, corridors, pool. It is clear that the hotel is managed by someone who does not care about it, and only about the money from guests. This atmosphere is reflected in the staff, who are not helpful, only smile falsely. "The cherry on the cake" was on the last day of my stay, the cleaning team stole a gold chain from my room, after reporting it to the staff - no help. The girl from the reception, looking at us standing next to a taxi to the airport, suggested waiting for an hour for the manager, or just coming tomorrow. Nice, right? Impudence, indifference, total lack of soul in this hotel. You can sleep in a tent, but with a nice approach, and here you pay a lot of money for what is worth 10% of the price, or maybe even less. Be careful.

I stayed at this hotel in December 2023 and liked it so in January 2024 I booked and paid to return to the hotel to stay in December 2024 into January 2025. Everything was confirmed and the money was taken from my credit card. When I arrived at the hotel on 26th December 2024 I was told to my horror that the hotel had changed hands, they had no record of my booking confirmation and that they were full and I would have to go elsewhere. I showed them my confirmation email and asked why I hadn't been notified of this but I was met with blank stares. I asked to speak with the management but was told I couldn't as they were in Bangkok, I asked for an email address but was again fobbed off. I had no choice but to try and book another hotel, but with it being so close to new year most of the hotels were fully booked and the ones that weren't were charging exhorbitant prices which I ended up having to pay. In short, I am a single female traveller, I arrived at the hotel at around 7pm, tired and hot after a full day of travelling, my phone battery was on its last legs and I was panicking that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere to go. This is an unacceptable way to treat people. Even if the hotel had changed hands, it should not make any difference to those who have already booked and paid well in advance. This hotel was in breach of contract and left me feeling extremely distressed and vulnerable - Disgusting!
