Journey Guesthouse

We stayed here for one night before heading to phi phi. The room was basic but has everything you need, it is an excellent price and everything very clean. It is also close to the pier which is handy and close to plenty of bars and restaurants.

Stayed here for one night. Value for money; cheap and cheerful. Great location in old town, right near 3D museum. Staff friendly and willing to help. Bed comfortable, room a good size and shower very good! Would stay again! Can add on breakfast if wish but lots of places surround for food!

Just checked in for 250 baht but if you made reservations through Bookings or Expedia the price will go as far as 3++ baht for standard dome so just make a phone call instead. Price aside, the hostel is infested with mosquitoes and hardly hygiene. The smell is terrible and you'd worry hell for their free snack breakfast. Safety wise, the area is relatively safe however judging from the management I'd not trust their locker whatsoever. Came to the town to have a sense of local life experience but ended up looking for other options for the entire day.
