We rested from April 23rd to May 5th. Reading bad reviews, driving with a heavy heart. Now I remember, I miss you, and I want to go back. I found Mon Repos. First of all, we were scared of the rough seas in April, the back currents... They didn't even expect to go to sea. But the sea was as affectionate as a kitten. Swimming for hours. All days! Sometimes the surf was a little higher, a little more intense, but there was no fear and no red flags were seen. The beach is about a kilometer long, wide enough, until noon in the shade of trees. At dawn I ran along the sea, the people came to swim. Idyllic. Hotel entrance is just across the street from the beach. Knightonbury has a huge green flowering area, a real garden of paradise, which is constantly tended by gardeners. They start before dawn. Beautiful clean pools with Jacuzzi areas, jets beating. There are oleanders planted around the perimeter. You can always find a place in the shade, even sitting in the pool in the middle of the day. Lovely white sand pool in the form of a lagoon - shallow, for kids. Umbrellas, sunbeds and shade are enough for everyone. We took a superior room, a little more expensive overlooking the pool. Always ask for a higher floor. No mosquitoes or other arthropods or vertebrates have been encountered. We brought a fumigator, though. The room is large, the furniture is in excellent condition. Read about shabby furniture... we had a pretty new one. Room and plumbing repairs are recent, no comment. Very kind of the hotel: there were two umbrellas in the room in case of rain. We took advantage. And two big beach mats, also new. Towels are handed out by the pool. The toilet is full of shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and milk after shower (!!!) - and this is very rare. In the room, safe, refrigerator, kettle and water. Cleaned perfectly, and we spared no tip. The restaurant is very nice, very clean and cozy. We had breakfast. The choice of breakfast dishes is huge. I can't figure out who wasn't happy with that. Yeah, there's no champagne and no red fish. How awful! But everything else is full and dietary. Empty plates were cleaned instantly and with a smile. We didn't eat at the hotel, we ate at restaurants nearby. I saw people at our restaurant having dinner and buying pizza. But we wanted a local, authentic one. In the hotel in the garden near the restaurant there are tables, in the open air. You can get breakfast on them in the morning. And in the evening, I saw families or buddy companies who bought yummy, wine, fruit from takeout restaurants and sat on these tables. Sit there mentally, no one yelling, no scenes, no garbage, no one being disturbed. And no one stopped them. Nothing negative. On the contrary, you watch and rejoice as our souls sit. 5*. Hotel reception is a positive, too. Massages were done every day at the hotel, too. First day tried the salon near the hotel, left. The first time was "heartfelt," the second time was scam. Decided not to experiment and booked massages at the hotel, in advance. Pleased. The only thing we weren't happy about was the tours. But the hotel had nothing to do with it. If all is well in peace and with us, I will definitely come back here. By the way, from time to time we talked to the people in the hotel: many have already been here and more than once. And they're going back. And us!

It took 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, the room was given mines for 20-30, maybe even less. We had room 8404 on the 4th floor. The room was nice, it had a large double bed and a half. The bathroom had a shower and a bathroom. Cabinet, hangers, safe, fridge, hairdryer, tv. The safe was used, not opened, everything was in place, thank God 🤲🏻. The strangest thing about the room is the window, the big bathroom window to the room. 😅 Cleaned and towels changed every day, water replenished the same way, every day. The room has 2 pcs beach beds, and an umbrella. The bathroom had bottles of shampoo, soap, shower gel, and disposable toothbrushes. There are so few hangers in the bathroom to hang clothes. As for the food, we only had breakfast included. The big downside of the hotel is that breakfast didn't change from a word at all, all the days we were there. Range of eggs, omelet, hot sauce chicken legs, sesame baked chicken, chicken sausages, sausages. Nutella and banana pancakes, pancakes, waffles, brownies. Milk cereal, etc. Chicken in clare, potatoes in clare, greens, ingredients for caesar salad, tomatoes, cucumbers. The fruit was watermelon and what looked like a melon, and a couple of times it was pitahaya. Drinks juices, tea, coffee machines, there were some cold shakes outside, we only tasted cold cocoa) The hotel had two swimming pools, once swimming in the Beach pool, the water was warm and the rest of the time was at sea. The beach and sand are clean, the sea is awesome, warm as steamed milk, you can sit in the sea just for hours. The sun is very strong, the peak hours start already at 10 am and until 3 pm, you can get burned like do not fig, SPF 30 did not save, it is better to take 50. It is also worth noting that Thailand has a ban on certain substances of SPF creams (Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor (4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor), Butylparaben (Butylparaben). The ban applies to all national parks. For example: Similan Islands, Suriname Islands, Phi Phi Islands, Phang Nga Bay, Ang Thong Islands (near Samui), Coral Island and Racha Islands near Phuket. Choose formulation creams (Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, and Reef Safe, Reef Friendly). Dinner was either in the hotel restaurant or went to restaurants near the hotel. +/- for two the price was 1000-1500 baht, one course and drink for each, and one course for two. There's a currency exchanger near the hotel, and grocery stores, and they also sold fruit. Tour operator "Biblioglobe" provides a free tour "Observation", well, you should visit the production of Latex, spend time to listen about the production, about the products of production (pillows, mattresses, blankets), then walk around the store itself and spend money on purchases of the product. Then you'll go to the snake farm where you'll be shown a 10-minute view of snakes, told again about drug production, etc., offered to kill a cobra for money, and drink a super magical cobra blood cocktail that will cure you of all diseases. For men, they also add a cobra heart, for the aphrodisiac. Cobras can be bought for one, two or a group of up to 7 people. We bought a cobra for five people, so it was $60 each. You'll also be offered a diagnosis of your body by finger capillaries, and then based on your flaws, they'll offer you drugs that will cure you. Next you will be taken to the temple of Wat Chalong (Wat Chaiyataram). After the temple for an additional cost of 300 baht (optional) you can go to see the Big Buddha (Great Buddha). Also tour operator "Biblioglobus" provides free shuttle service to the Jewelry Store and Shopping Center. We also took two day trips "Star Islands + Krabi". On the first day of the excursion, we visited Maya Bay, the "Pi Le Lagoon" in which we bathed, from a boat we looked at "Ape Beach". Next was snorkelling near Phi Phi Don Island, and lunch at the island's Phi Phi Don restaurant. Beach holidays on Bambu Island and Poda Island. Arrival at Ao Nang Pier, mainland Krabi Island, check-in at Arawan Beach Resort Krabi, and dinner. The second day of the tour was breakfast in the morning. Next, arrival at Tha Pom Klon Son Nam National Reserve, visit Wat Laem Sak Temple. Arrival on Khaowong Kot safari, elephant riding cost included in excursion, lunch, and transfer to Phuket. Used inDriver taxis, paid in cash. In general, we liked the hotel in general, did not die of hunger, fruit was eaten, the "Andaman Sea" is magnificent! I do not recommend taking the "Sightseeing" tour, it is better to go to the "Wat Chalong Temple" and the "Big Buddha".

DEAR TOURISTS! GO TO THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL NEVER REGRET!! We went family with our parents for 10 nights. Rest will be suitable, both for adults (noisy, quiet) and young. The beauty there is indescribable. Nature on site, and the sea😍😍😍😍 Some might not like it, but we've been riding in a very strong wave season, with young children that's probably not an option. But we were thrilled, we'd never seen it, bathing is a pleasure. The beach also has lifeguards who really rescue (there were cases of tourists who swam far away). Cleanliness of the room by 5 points, try, every time clean linen, towels. 15 minutes on foot is an elephant farm, it is fashionable to feed, pet elephants, you cannot ride. 30-45 minutes (from the exit to the left) is the most beautiful beach in Phuket (2 pictures on the rocks). Breakfasts are good, interesting. Honestly, we used to carry these breakfasts in the room, sometimes we dined them, no one will tell you anything😂 The room immediately gives a good one without tips, but you can thank. About lunch and dinner: the restaurants at the hotel are good, you can eat there. If you go outside, be careful, it's better to ask guides where you can eat and where you can't. There are really good and very delicious places, but their names I don't remember, but there are places where they are poisoned. From the exit to the right along the sea they sell delicious fried shrimp on a fire in sauce, I advise you to try. Fruit is sold nearby a lot, it is better not to bargain with them, and so sold at small prices. But at the end of our stay there was a man who called fruit prices three to four times more expensive than they really were. The cons we've highlighted for ourselves are: 1. There are no sunbeds on the beach, either go with mats to the beach (they are in your room), or buy chairs and tables from those who sell fruit, but it is not worth it. It is better on the beach to be located not too close to the sea, because there are tides and all things can blow away. 2. Far from civilization, but we often went on excursions (borrowed from a guide) and on our way went to the center of Phuket for a walk and a shopping trip. If you want to hang out and have an outdoor activity, you're not here. 3. There's a construction site nearby, a little bit of a landscape mess. When he walks, don't touch the local dogs, they're angry.
