It was quite an experience unlike other wellness resorts. Or rather, it was an experience that would benefit my health going forward. I have a class with a lot of people attending every day, and I feel very comfortable because I can freely participate from among them, and the class itself is a lot of stretching and exercises, and it is quite hard for things like me, and I am quite short of breath and tired, but afterwards I can get a relaxation massage and so on. Diet is also a unique healthy diet. The facilities are of course less luxurious these days, but the compact location makes it easy to move around, and this is enough if you think the purpose is your health. Also worth a visit if your goals are clear.

This is my second visit to Chiva Som and I came here this time as I have significant health issues including the fact that I couldn’t physically walk and am awaiting knee replacement surgery. Like something of a biblical miracle, Chiva Som put me on a programme of physical therapy and treatments which eventually enabled me to walk! People were whispering ‘that lady who was on the walking stick can walk now’ and questions were asked about who had treated me. The truth is that the magical healing nature of the place and the combined knowledge and care of all the people working here works wonders. The GM is present, charming and obviously cares very deeply, no issue is too small. All of the above and exquisite care and professional pride make this an amazing place with exquisite food and attention to deal. Special thanks to Thip for taking extra care of me!

If you are looking for a real health resort, this is heaven on earth. After traveling the world all over, I‘ve stayed so many times in hotels and resorts dedicated to health, but Chiva Som topped it all. It’s the incredible team spirit, everybody you will meet is really dedicated to get the best possible results for your body and soul. Food is excellent, also on the diet plans and service allover is seamless and friendly. You should opt for the bigger oceanview rooms on the 4th floor. My Best experiences in Thailand are: the Park Hyatt in Bangkok, the Conrad in Koh Samui and the Chiva Som for your health.
