Majestic Creek Golf Club & Resort

We arrived and were assigned Course C, a 10 min buggy ride along a potholed road. The course was not terrible, actually enjoyed the greens although you could tell they were not spending much on course maintenance. Caddies were pleasant. Complaints: 1. The JOURNEY to the first hole. 2. They were literally burning dead trees and the smell was terrible. 3. They allowed a group of old Korean ladies to cut between us and an already backed up group in front. When the caddies requested that our 2 ball be allowed to play through, they just waved them away arrogantly. 3. After the long game of wait and play, we went in to try the restaurant, asked for the menu and they literally said they were only catering for the Koreans. We took this as those on a package deal and asked for the a-la-cart menu and they said "no". The senior staff member apologised for their bad service and just walked away as though that was good enough... we left and took our dinner business elsewhere, as we will do with our 'YEAR-LONG' golf business.

We (9) stayed one night at the resort. We played golf on the next day. The golf course is good. We arrived late so the hotel officer left the room keys to the guard. We got the room keys from the guard. We were only the guests at the resort. The guard turned on the light at the swimming pool for us. The rooms were nice. We talked about two hours at the table in the front of our rooms. One of us forgot the room key. The guard called the housekeeper to get the backup key for us. We were extremely thankful.

This is one of the longest white tee course I think I played in Thailand. 6800 yards (A&B course) if I remember correctly. Driver has to work if not, it will be a long day. Not much good impression of the course and my peers don't like it as well. Their first complaint was the changing room really in need of a refurbishment. As we walked in, we thought we were in their back store and was shocked as we see at least 50 golf bags lined up beside their toilets. While we were ordering our lunch before the start of our game, the food was average and took a long time even though there is only like 2-3 tables occupied. I cannot remember much of this course and I suppose it should be a plain layout. If I were to choose this and Springfield Royal, it will definitely be Springfield Royal hands down! I believe both course price range is about the same.
