Simplicity Resort

I stayed for 2 nights with pool villa on my birthday period and i think it was too short. Even if the private pool it's not large pretty much but I was falling in love when i arrived at the room. It is reasonable price for me but not at all. I disappointed a bit with their terms and conditions for using Ensogo's deal voucher First, they said it unavailable to use any deal voucher with special rate on long weekend because it was high occupancy but when i arrived there then i knew that there are only 2 villas had booked (included my booking). Then i was wondering that why don't they allow guest to use any deal voucher. It's too stupid because it would be better to let everyone know your resort more. If you are looking for some large area and indigenous villa without sea view facing but very quiet and privacy then i recommend this place!! Finally, i need to special thanks to housekeeping for making up my room neatly and tidy. I impressed!! I think i might be back once if i could. Keep in touch!

I am a bit perplexed about the 2 earlier previews ..one in Russian and the other in Spanish. I think both reviewers simply expected too much ..as the name of the establishment says ..its simply Simplicity ! so its best to approach this place with none or if any, with simple expectations. Actually the physical approach is already a challenge ..its almost impossible to find from the main road ..a tine little dirt track , just next to a car wash, leads to the resort , in the middle of no-where ..a very strange location. This is a lovely little retreat …ideally for a simple get-away for people from Bangkok, or for non-married couples. Admittedly ..the place doesn't endear itself after a day or 2 there. The villas itself advertise themselves as Serviced Apartments ..which is wrong description because these are not apartments but individual chalets, quite spacious and reasonably (simply) furnished. Yes we did have bathroom amenities, there is hot water. The kitchen/living room combo is functional, the TV has about 5 dozen satellite channels, the fridge is generously sized ..but there is no water heater. In my living room the front window curtains were down ..so there was no privacy. The best part of the chalet was the bedroom ..a very comfortable bed. What makes this place are the staff …friendly, helpful. Breakfast was simple but enough. Wifi signal only works in the lobby/dining area .signal is strong. The entire place appears to be in urgent need of basic maintenance; the swimming pool pump was down, so the pool was a greenish brown mess; the cute little water feature next to the lobby was down for some time. The place gives you the impression of being run by a bunch of kids trying to play hotel. In another location and with a little more enthusiastic management this place could do well . But for BT 1000 per night incl breakfast is was ok for a few days.
