Sabaidee Beach Hotel

This is the Thai version of Fawlty Towers compete with Thai Mr and Mrs Fawlty Manuel all combined into 2 people conveniently no converse in English but when they want to lie it comes conveniently easy. Place stinks something between mouldy towels chicken crap and salted fried fish, rooms not serviced and most have cold water showers. Transport almost impossible and drunk thais with women woke us several times at 2am and 3am. Owner made inappropriate remarks regularly about my girlfriend being “sexy” etc Beach filthy polluted covered in garbage water as well can’t swim Anywhere.

This is a very down-to-earth and basic guest house right opposite the beach (there's a road in between). If you want to be away from tourists, you can be safe here, and yet close to one half decent restaurant in either direction. It's a little far from the town unless you have a car or motorbike, but the hotel has free bikes, so you can easily ride into town. Major problem is that the staff don't always speak English so you may have to get on the phone for a translator. My main issue was weekend Thais who make enough noise to wake the dead at 3am.

reached no problem, checked in quickly. The moment we opened the door there was this strong disgusting smell inside the room. Realized, this was coming from the bathroom which required an oxygen mask to enter it. Luckily, it was only one night and as a workaround we opened the windows, bought aroma spray from 7 eleven to alleviate the suffering little bit. No trash bin inside the room
