The Rice Hotel

The RICE hotel is a newer hotel at the entrance of Roi-Et (car almost mandatory and necessary). Numerous parking spaces are available in front of the hotel. We had booked the hotel for one night for a transit and it completely met our demands. The staff was always friendly and helpful towards us. The room was large enough and also offered a small balcony overlooking the parking lot. For us there was enough storage space and there is a small fridge in the room. Wi-Fi and TV is also available. Bathroom a bit small but you usually stay alone in it and for that it is sufficient. The room was clean and cleaned. We had breakfast included in the price, the breakfast is absolutely sufficient even if not quite complete, there is toast, jam, coffee, juice, egg and also Thai hot dishes. It was enough for us and we cannot rate it negatively.

Room # 410 ~ 1 x Night Stay ~ Booked via Agoda At the time of booking I requested a QUIET Room far away form Lifts, Stairs etc. We received a Room next to the Lifts & Stair and right opposite the Thai Pub called "Hop Head" which opens late and stays open even later!! YOU WILL HEAR the NOISE if you are on the Even Room number side of the Rice Hotel - You have been warned here and now!!! Everything else was terrific.... Very close ( by car ) to Big C Mall and the food selections inside. Very Very clean, new looking and tidy ( public and room areas ) Staff full of Smiles and very helpful.... Included Buffet Breakfast in room rate is a solid 8 / 10... especially when you consider the room rate paid. Boiled Rice, Fried Rice, Chicken Ginger stir fry, Pork Soup and Fried Eggs, Toast, Jam and Juice and a Nescafe Coffee machine..... We would stay again however next time we would request an Odd Number room that over looks just the quiet Car Park!!!

(I have stayed in five different 3+ star hotels in Roiet city and this is the best for cleanliness, basic comforts and reasonably priced. ) Soft beds, electric plug-ins next to the bed ( for charging phone), good Mitsubishi AC, clear TV reception, good WiFi, a small bathroom but nicely tiled with hot water. The basic breakfast with Isaan choices (cold eggs, hotdogs & toast for the “farangs”555) Plenty of secure, well lit parking. 1.5 km from Big C shopping mall. Note: For an enjoyable dinner or cold craft beers, there is a trendy restaurant across the street called, “Leīy pāk Roi Et ร้านอาหารเลียปาก ร้อยเอ็ด “ It opens after 5:00pm. Higher prices than most restaurants but a special selection of steaks and seafood among other choices of meals and appetizers. Nice atmosphere with live music. Easy to walk to from hotel.
