Muaklek Health Spa And Resort

This was one of my business trip and i was booked into this hotel. I drove straight from Bangkok airport to this place. this took about 3 hrs. It is near Saraburi, in a place called Wang Muang. The rooms are quite big and naturally well illuminated. the bed was big and comfortable. bath room is okbut lacks proper lighting. The lobbies & stair cases are very wide and place is kept neat and tidy. there is not much in terms of room service. It appears this is a family managed hotel. They do not serve lunch / dinner but have a basic breakfast of coffee and toast butter in the evening. To get a decent vegetarian food in interior is a big challenge and this place is no exception. If you are looking for a peaceful sleep and comfortable stay you will not be disappointed.

The other reviews are accurate.. the place needs repair! It's unfortunate, because it really is a beautiful setting and would do well with better upkeep. My family came and I arranged several rooms with them (several had to be switched because of maintenance issues: shower, AC, etc). For their credit, at least the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was laid back. I think they rented rooms out monthly, since it seemed like people lived there. We found the staff to be accommodating (by Thai standards). I think my family would have been happier if I had booked us at the Ndol resort. Next time...

This Hotel must have been very nice sometimes. But now it is completely run down. I staid with my wife in this Hotel luckyly only for one night - and we were the only customers. No wonder - the restaurant was closed - the rooms are spacious, but run down and the ceiling coming down near the aircondition. Bathroom full of fungus. We had to ask for towels first and an unfriendly staff brought it. There was no usable Pool (green Water), Sauna closed, shop closed, No water in the morning (got repaired later). The friendly staff at the reception (she worked there for 2 days only) was very helpful. I can only say - avoid this place until it is completely refurbished.
