Sila Resort

Great place to stay, such a lovely welcoming with homemade sweets, offered their bikes for free and even got us a scooter so we didn’t had to rent it at the bus terminal but directly at the hotel (then we didn’t have to leave our passports with the guys at the scooter rental), helped us with the planning for sightseeing (historical park), amazing breakfast for only 150 Baht, the stuff is definitely the best part of staying here We stayed in a Pavillon, the room is clean, not too big but you will feel comfortable. Recommending to rent a scooter to go to the historical park (250 Baht), tuktuk would probably be more expensively for both ways

This place is great value for money and you’d struggle to find better facilities for the price. Even better than the hotel is the staff who are all excellent but especially Momo. He not only got up to pick me up from the bus station at 2am (i was expected at 6am) as he knew I was a solo traveller and wanted to make sure i found the hotel in the dark - he also helped two other guests with a hospital trip, sorting out all of their insurance problems from them. You’d struggle to find somewhere better for your money and this is a great place to stop on a solo or group trip.

This hotel is amazing: it's cheap, spacious, beautiful, quiet, and clean! But the best part is it's manager Momo!! From the very beginning Momo was there for us, offering to use their bikes (free) to visit the town, showed us one of his favorite restaurants and made sure we had the best dishes served and even brought us on his nightly bike/walk around a beautiful rice field for sunset! The next day, my partner unfortunately had to be hospitalized for food poisoning from our last town and Momo helped me SO MUCH with translating and paperwork at the hospital so everything could run smoothly for my partner. I unfortunately got hospitalized as well later on for the same thing. Again, Momo did EVERYTHING. He came by many times bringing us fruits, dinner, a book and even his little sister to say hi. He helped us understand the nurses and doctors and was able to get our questions answered. Him and his boss, the hotel owner, visited us twice together which made us feel safe, comfortable, and not alone. Momo and Sila Hotel did all of that and so much more for us (booking our ticket out of Sukothai, getting us massages after our hospital stay, inviting us to join in on a friend's birthday party, etc) If we ever wander back into Sukothai, we know where we will be staying! Thank you Momo for everything!! <3
