Well placed amazing sea view pool infinity house and immersive frankly really well!! It’s amazing!

The views from this resort were spectacular. The lady at the pool bar was incredibly sweet and we loved her. The pool was clean. Things I wish I had known prior to booking this hotel: It is not within walking distance where restaurants/shopping etc are. You will have to take a Grab or taxi. There is no place to eat at this resort except for the poolside bar which is not opened all of the time and never for breakfast. We were able to go down to the sister resort which is beachfront (Bhundari Resort is not) and pay 600THB for breakfast. We ended up taking Grabs/Taxis everywhere in order to eat. The resort is also built on an extremely steep hill. There are golf carts there that employees can take you up to your villa but they only operate during certain hours. The villas themselves are really cute, but outdated. Ours had a strong smell of mothballs but our travel partners' villa did not. The resort itself is quite run down and there are lots of broken and rotting wood in the paths and around the pool. A large portion of the wooden deck/walk around the pool area is taped off due to wood rot. One of us tripped on a rotted plank and cut their leg on the way back to our villa. We reported it to the reception right away and asked for a bandage and new towel as it had bled and that was all we had to hold it. They could not give us a bandage and from what I was able to understand, they could not access the linens to give a new towel (one was later provided to our room however). Blood also got onto the sheets of the bed which we also reported. When we went to check out we were advised that we would need to pay 1200 THB for the towel and sheet as they were 'unable' to clean it. We were unpleasantly surprised by this as the injury was due to the poor upkeep of the property, leading to unsafe conditions. We were concerned with infection at this point and the desk clerk instructed us to go through our insurance with any issues. This would be fine if the injury had of required medical treatment beyond a bandage, which thankfully it did not, but nonetheless we were very surprised that the resort was demanding payment for a towel and sheet that had blood on it due to the neglect of the property. We were refusing to pay but ultimately had a ferry to catch. The clerk called his manager who advised him that we could pay half (600THB) and not say anything negative about the resort. I agreed that we would pay half but that I would absolutely be leaving an honest review about our experience at the resort so that others are aware going in. At the end of the day 600THB is not a lot of money and that is not what we were upset about, it was just the principal of the situation. There was no apology or concern for the injury and it just seemed insane to me. The photos of this property do not reflect the condition of the resort. If this resort invested in some paint and fixed the safety issues and just put in some upkeep, it would be a lovely place to stay (they would also need to offer food options for all meals as it is so far from the downtown). The villas are unique and have outdoor showers and this resort has great potential. I'm sure it was amazing when it first opened but now it is deteriorating. I would not stay here again due to the situation re: the injury, the location and the condition of the resort.

We were recently, the bungalow seemed very dirty and careless, the photos of the bungalows are old and not current, because the facilities are very careless, and the staff quite unfriendly. The bungalows are by the side of the road and there is a lot of traffic noise all the time The price I found exaggeratedly expensive in relation to what it offers
