Blue Hill Beach Resort by Le Palais Hotel

I really liked this hotel - it was very reasonably priced, with good wifi too. It was near enough to the beach and just a short walk from local amenities. I really liked the pool too, which had fantastic views. I'd definitely stay here again. Ticked all the boxes

Firstly me and my friend came to check in to stay here for 2 nights as part of our island hopping holiday around Thiland. W was rudley told to go next door to check in which then we had to lug our suitcases back and forth for the check in. As we finally got to our room from countless amount of walking up the stairs and on the old 'elevator' which is very unsafe.. our room was disgusting they were lizards above us on the ceiling it had no floor whatsoever the best way to describe the look of it was a prison cell. The pool area is so unsafe nails sticking out of the floor.. tiles were missing in the swimming pool and just looked a really un inviting area to be around!!! They provided air contditioning which was freezing and did not provide a remote to turn it down until we asked. We then asked if we could use the swimming pool next door because apparently they are going into partnership with each other as the hotel next door looked alot nicer and they said No!!! I would highly NOT Recommend this 'Hotel'

We stayed for two nights at the time of the full moon party in August. The deluxe sea room shouldn't be described as deluxe. It's understandable that prices are pushed up during peak times like the full moon but only if standards are acceptable. The whole room is concrete and there is no wifi available in the rooms. The surfaces above the fridge has not been wiped down prior to us arriving resulting in ants everywhere. The views are gorgeous and the pool is lovely but all in all these are the only positives.
