Depressing, uninspiring dark dank cell. The room is similar to that found in Midnight Express, toilet was filthy and in need of a new seat, shower needs replacing and was also grubby. Filthy window blinds and ledges with dead flies and tufts of dust. Fridge … you could warm up your exe’s heart in it! Air con??? Not sufficient. View - a washing line with dirty rags on it, no beach access, not a place I could find relaxing. Really needs a refurbishment and a bloody good clean. However, Staff were very friendly and kind, Peter the German host was understanding when we decided not to stay for our 3 nights booked, he refunded us all our money. We rebooked at All at Sea resort which is total paradise.

If you’re looking for an authentic thai restaurant this is the place to be in ban tai. The fried curry is great and also the fried chili ! Actually everything is really good. Prices are very cheap and the quality of the food is great for that.

While in ko phangan for the full moon party we stayed at Palm Beach. Newer resort with nice rooms. Our air conditioning was not working properly and the staff had maintenance look at it right away taking care of the problem. Comfortable rooms with ocean view. Great food at the restaurant with cheap prices compared to most other places in the area. The only downside was that there was no sand beach at this location. If you are ok with that than this place will do just fine.
