Thongtapan Resort is amazing! It is on a lovely stretch of white beach with the most beautiful aqua ocean views. The bungalows are cozy, clean and include porches with a hammock for lazing away an hour or two. Palm and coconuts with a multitude of resident birds and geckos surround the area, giving it a lovely tropical feel. The entire staff is helpful and service is always with a smile. The restaurant, on the beach and under a spreading cashew tree, offers good, reasonably priced food and the bar next door is just right for an evening drink and sunset. It's a short walk to the village or to other resorts on the beach to check out a wide variety of restaurants. Just an amazingly beautiful place to hang out and relax!

***Christmas 2019 - we have 11 nights (17 Dec - 28 Dec '19) to sell on for a big discount. We're simply unable to travel this year, the booking is for the Junior Suite which is also good for buggy access. Pls get in touch to find out more*** I have visited many places in Thailand (my mum is from Bangkok) and this is by far my favourite place to stay. The setting is wonderful, as it's at the end of the beach it's slightly quieter and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food is amazing and the beach bar is great for chilling out. We love the bungalows and have enjoyed many moments sitting on the balcony looking across the resort or sea. If you ever fancy something slightly different in the evening then a gentle wander down the beach takes you to other places to eat or drink but we often stayed at the resort. The staff are all amazing and have always been accommodating and friendly. It really is a special place to go. Our second time at this resort and service we received the first time was replicated, the people are just so helpful and accommodating. Located in the north east of the island it is perfectly situated on a quiet part of Thong Nai Pan Noi beach so you are not having to fight for a place to sit yourself down to relax. The water is crystal clean and really no rubbish (plastics) to speak of. Also fantastic diving so for the divers H2O Diving is a stones throw away. Heaps of nice restaurants a short walk down the beach to the walking street or you can choose to use the resorts facilities....bar restaurant. Rooms are not your high end but well appointed and that's what we like, there is a constant sea breeze most through the rooms for most of the day.
