Venus Resort

The staff are lovely, however we payed 8500 Baht for 2 nights during full moon party. The rooms were like a prison cell - no window and bright orange. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable we woke up with bruises. They give you a towel for a blanket…and they request 1000baht for deposit of key and ‘blanket’ Apart from the staff being so lovely and it being 5 min walk from beach…I’d never return!

No positiv aspects... Really! Toilet and shower small I pay 1500baht for two days (full moon party) They don't clean the room The room smells soooooo bad Location is far away from centre but close 5-8min to the beach Mattress was so hard .... Staff is okay AC is okay

IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT STAYING HERE READ THIS AND DO NOT BOOK. Firstly everyone who stays here should know that Venus resort is located on the top of a mountain where cars and motorbikes cannot access so you have to walk up a non lit path through the mountain. We chose this resort because it was close to haad Rin beach and close to full moon party. We paid for an air conditioned room and the pictures of the place looked great. Needless to say, we arrived after climbing a mountain to our non air conditioned room with fire ants crawling all over our room, even biting us in our sleep. We thought that was the most problematic part of our stay until one night while we were sleeping someone came into our room and stole cell phones, wallets, cameras and gopros. We're still uncertain if we believe it to be a worker here regardless whoever broke into our room while we were in the same room was skilled and had done this before. Only positive thing to say is the food is good.
