Aurora Hill Resort

Stayed here in jan 2013. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. And felt very safe. Owner sert is very helpful and looked after guests fantastically during stay. Location is a walk or drive up very bumpy road but benefit is the resort is very quiet and no passing traffic either. Takes about ten / fifteen mins to walk to bophut beach (nice) and main road that you can pick up taxis to chewang from (300 bht approx) journey takes ten mins. Pool was always kept clean and cleaning in rooms great too. Free coffee all day and free wifi (another hotel I stayed in charged for this). Two small things stopping me giving aurora full rating 1) bathroom could have done with bit of makeover or new shower curtain. 2) there is no shop to buy water or food until you get to main road. As this is a walk down bumpy road would suggest putting kettle in room for tea and water in fridge (that is chargeable). Also basic snacks for sale by pool would encourage people to stay there longer All in all though great value for money. Was actually quite sad to leave.
