Baan Tai Cluster

4 of us (2 couples) booked the accommodation through Booking.com and we were under the impression it was a villa with a small private pool as advertised. We got there and the villa looks nothing like the photos.. it was in a residential area and not in walking distance of anything. The rooms were clean enough but there were bugs and mosquitos everywhere as it was in a really overgrown location. Wouldn't stay here again, but it was very cheap so we should have expected it.

This is not a 2 bed bungalow - much of the living space is outdoors and accessible to anyone. The bedroom is secured only by a bike lock! We arrived and the bathroom smelt and there were huge bugs crawling around the 'lounge' area. We did not stay and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! This place is terrible. We go to Samui many times and this place is the most bad place I see in Samui or any other place we been in Thailand. We came here with family, 2 kids, 6 and 13 years. We booked to stay here 1 month, but we LEAVE AFTER 1 NIGHT. We booked villa with swimmingpool for the kids, but the swimmingpool look more like a bathtub for birds, very small 2x0,5 meter and it was so dirty that I would not even put my foot inside. The water was brown, and the man who worked there say him clear it in the night, so the next day it would be good. But the next day it was exactly the same. The 2. Floor bedroom had and small ant-farm inside the wardrobe-closet and had a door out no the top of the wall where they maybe planed to make a terrace outside one time but never do. And it couldn't be locked so they had just tied the two doors together with a rope and If a kid open this rope him would fall down to the ground. This room is all there is on the 2. Floor except 2 terraces, but this also look very bad an is nothing you would like to use anyway if you stay here. On the 1 floor you have bedroom and bathroom, The bedroom: Windows broken so mosquito and other insect can come inside, many ants here also, the one night we stayed we had to clean the bed for ants before we go to sleep and the bedsheet looked clean when we came but smelled like they not have changed it from the last costumer before. The bathroom: Big bathtub, but looked very discusting inside, painting had fallen of and when we wake up in morning it was full of insect who had fall down from a broken plate in the roof. The shower ha only vold water. The "livingroom" is outside the "villa" and do not have walls. SO ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE IS PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY SO YOU NOT HAVE THE WORST HOLIDAY IN YOUR LIFE IN THIS MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, THE LAND OF SMILES.
