Very nice hotel with friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Highlight: kids' club with the counselor Amily. Our 8-year-old daughter and her 10-year-old friend were thrilled with her. And she makes the most beautiful braided hairstyles :)

I stayed with my husband at this resort for a week as a beach break from a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun. What can I say, on paper it is a 5-star, but in practice, let's say that a few stars have eclipsed. The resort at first glance is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery with ponds, small lakes, plants, well-maintained and cared for daily. There are 2 restaurants, one very nice Thai one and a main one near the sea and the large pool, buffet in the morning for breakfast and à la carte for the main meals. Breakfast is very rich, sweet and savory, satisfying all tastes. The food for the remaining meals is à la carte but never changes, therefore it is very repetitive. The main pool is well-maintained and cleaned, sun loungers are always available, and there is the possibility of getting towels daily and for free. The sanctuary pool, on the other hand, is different and not as well-maintained. Let's move on to the room; we had a villa, which is a more spacious room compared to the others, with an outdoor patio area, sun loungers, and a private pool. At first glance it's beautiful, but looking closely you see a thousand flaws due to the passing of the years and the poor maintenance and cleaning. Walls and surfaces with questionable stains, dirty sheets, hair in the drawers. For heaven's sake, they came to clean the room every morning, but something was missing every time: one time the hand/face towels were thrown in the wash and not replaced, the toothbrush was thrown away and not replenished via the courtesy kit, water was never put back correctly—out of the 4 daily bottles provided, sometimes we found 2, other times 1, even though we left the empty ones in plain sight. The evening turndown service consists only of tidying up the bedspread as best as possible and that's it, and leaving some sweets. Wi-Fi internet is present but it drops every 10 minutes and it takes quite a while to reconnect! In the evening after dinner, silence falls; there is nothing planned to entertain the guests until bedtime. I must say that all the staff are kind and helpful. In short, perhaps more should be done regarding the cleaning and maintenance of the rooms, with a nice coat of paint on the walls and replacing the most worn-out parts. And create something for after dinner.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Melati Beach Resort & Spa. This was actually our second visit—we first stayed here about 12 years ago, and we are happy to say that the resort is just as beautiful today as we remembered. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The entire resort is well maintained and creates a peaceful, tropical atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, with a great variety of high-quality dishes. Overall, the service was exceptional, and every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. We would especially like to thank „Fon“ for her kindness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. She was always incredibly friendly and wonderful with our children, making them feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. Her caring attitude made a real difference to our family holiday. A special thank you also goes to „K“ and „Sunny“ at the pool. His friendly personality, excellent pool service, and positive attitude added so much to our relaxing days by the water. He always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. Yes, Melati Beach Resort is not the cheapest option—but in our opinion, the quality, the service, and the overall experience fully justify the price. It is a place where you truly feel looked after. We highly recommend this resort and sincerely hope to return again in the future.
