Samui Tonggad Resort

Passage to lamai .we expected other things... aging pool, no bar, restaurant... But the accommodations are comfortable, spacious shower. The team is on top ...especially in advice. Need a scooter or taxi to get around.

This place is awesome. Great staff and facilities.. There is nothing they wont do to nake your stay a great experience. Weather was great and close to shops... Wifi was good Rooms clean and tidy Grounds well maintained.

We spent our honeymoon at Samui, staying in Tonggad for almost a month. It's been a perfect stay in an awesome room number, which we think about even one year later, after visiting tons of other hotels around the world. Our first coming to Tonggad was not perfect, as we were boarded into tiny room on the second line from the shore, and it was just devastating. The moment we met Dolly, the owner, was a striking luck. She settled the issue down very quickly and moved us to separate house building, divided by two numbers (they have several of these houses with this accommodation possibility). The room number had a lot of space, great bath, clean and it had great WiFi coverage too. The breakfasts were very ordinary, as all the hotel's breakfasts in Thailand, so we were okay with that. We never used the pool there, and it's not that cool anyway :) As other reviews state, the beach there is absent in a "beach" way. The water in this bay is always at low tide, so you'll never be able to swim there. But that's no problem at all, you can always get to other beach areas close by. You can rent a bike at this resort. The bike we rented was cheap and perfect. The best bike we rented out of 3 islands in this area. It was in good condition, fast and extremely reliable (we traveled the whole island and climbed all the mountains up and down with it). The location is perfect though. The hotel is situated in it's own bay. You can access Lamai and Chaweng beaches with 10-minute bike ride. You can also visit Crystal beach right around the corner too. Hotel features it's own cafe, which we never tried after breakfast time. You can also request laundry services there, and it was very good in quality too. When we left Samui to check out other islands, Dolly was very kind offering to keep our luggage in our room until we arrive back, with no extra cost for that. Try and find an approach to client like this anywhere in the world - you'll get no luck. To sum up, I'd like to thank all the staff members in Samui Tonggad Resort for their care, service and assistance. This place is perfect for couples, families, and staying with friends.
