Samujana Villas-Four Bedrooms Pool Villa-15

The staff were so friendly throughout our stay.Great pool and lovely view but really not the standard expected for this price bracket. The interiors are very dated and lots need replacing.The curtains in our rooms were mould at the bottom and the floors had pieces coming away. Mosquito nets were also really needed as the kids for bitten a lot throughout the night. The towels were very threadbare which doesn’t bother me too much but is just not really OK for this price

Villa 27 Jacinta is like a dream. Every element if of the highest quality. The design, the views, the pool, the bedrooms, bathrooms, gym, tv room is just heaven. The area is perfect a short ride to the great restaurants both north and south, not to mention close proximity to beaches. One thing special about Samujana is the incredible service of the people. Emily our Villa manager was amazing, vibrant, enthused, first class from day 1. She alone made our group so comfortable and was there with suggestions, bookings. Nan our butler served all our foods, organised everything to the minute 🙏 . A special place you will never forget

Villa 28 at Samujana was beautiful and had just about everything we needed! But the highlights of our stay was definitely Emily, Winner (our two Villa Managers) and the team, who really took very good care of our every need while we were there!!!! We traveled with our multi-generational extended family of 10 from various places (NYC area, Taipei and Bangkok) and wound up booking this villa very last minute as Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy inexplicably cancelled our original booking in a different villa while my family and I were literally on our flight from NYC to Bangkok! My brother, who lives in Bangkok, was able to work with the villa management company to book the villa at Samujana less than 24 hrs before arrival. We were very pleasantly surprised at how prepared they were for us on such short notice. TLDR: Unbelievable service, views, villa and value! Just book it and enjoy being pampered in luxury! Here are some specific details: Service: 5/5 1. They took care of every request as quickly and efficiently as possible. There was a little bit of a language barrier but not a problem as long as we explained everything in more plain American English. 2. Emily was very warm while being detailed oriented. She just made us feel like we were being taken care of by a loving mother! 3. Winner was able to efficiently take care of any requests (booking cars, making restaurant recommendations/reservations, etc.). 4. The Housekeeping team of 2 ladies always kept everything neat and tidy, while being nearly invisible. 5. They were able to accommodate one of my daughters’ long list of dietary restrictions with very little problems, including making her meals with the gluten free tamari sauce we brought along with us. Villa: 5/5 1. Views are amazing! Every bedroom has a great view! 2. Every single bedroom is a large, beautiful room with a large en-suite bathroom. The rain showers were the best! Both my wife and I said that we will remember those shower heads forever! 3. Very well equipped. The only thing it lacked was access to a washer/dryer for us to do our own laundry. Food: 4.5/5 1. Everything was very good and there was something for everyone. 2. They were able to accommodate a long list of food sensitivities and allergies for a couple of people. 3. The staff would help wash and cut up or make food that we brought back from the grocery store. Pro tip: you can use Grab (the local Uber/Uber Eats) to deliver groceries! Just let the staff know and they will help with logistics and taking delivery/putting things away. 4. Only ding (probably my own fault): the Thai food could have been a little spicier. Value: 5/5 1. It feels crazy to say that the value is great on a place that cost as much as this, but in any of the other places of the world that we have traveled to in a setting like this (beautiful beachy island feel), this would have easily cost us 4-5x. Even on Koh Samui, to get hotel rooms, especially one with a kitchen (for our daughter’s dietary restrictions), was going to cost us 2-3 times more! 2. Room service for 10 was VERY, VERY affordable! We ate 80-90% of our meals in the Villa and was amazed at how low our bill was at the end of the stay. Thank you conversion rate! Bottom line: Samujana and Emily and Winner’s team were amazing and made for a very memorable! We all miss it already!
