Vanda House Resort

I absolutely love this hotel! The price-to-value ratio is fantastic. The staff are super friendly, especially the owner, who made me feel very welcome. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, yet still very central. Everything in Lamai is within walking distance, which made it super convenient. I highly recommend Vand House Samui for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay on the island!

What a terrible place .. I got to the hotel late afternoon, tired travel I thought that I would relax in the shower and rest in front of the pool( water was yellow •_•) or TV ... unfortunately, on the contrary ... The shortest shower I've ever had in my life, the feeling of not washing myself( 2 min) Awful night, the horrible bedding didn't let me fall asleep ... I started feel the pinching and itching of the whole body. 2 hours sleep, suddenly I was woken up by a scraping at the door ... and later behind a wooden panel on the wall behind the bed ... the end of sleep, at 5.30 in the morning something ran from under the bed towards the fridge .. The fridge, after the external appearance, I realized that I had to be careful what I could see inside ... as soon as I opened it, I closed so quickly .. Summarising, everything dirty, damaged, stinking ... plus a price list for damage during your stay.. I think the person who runs that business, doesn’t know anything about cleaning !!! More attention to business, less time on the phone texting or playing ..

The nice and clean big room was well equipped with a fridge, tv, good shower, toiletries and sofa area in the room plus a balcony. A20 mins walk to the main Lamai street. There are a few restaurants, and massage shops and a 7/11 just opposite the hotel. The hotel has a pool which is a plus and they also provide daily cleaning. The staff is friendly and note that the wifi works slow. There is a key deposit of 500 baht which I am unable to collect back due to the reception was closed when checked out at 6 am...contacted the hotel and they say I can collect back when I am there again...when ??? I don't know..hope they remember. Other then this incident, my stay was still good. Overall, All the basics provided and the place was comfortable to have a quiet stay.
