Villa La Moon Ko Samui

I was twice at this place and I really enjoyed the view, the ocean sounds, large bedrooms with good AC... The staff could be a bit more quicker but everything is OK from my point of view... I will come back for sure.

We stayed at Villa LaMoon in dec of 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. Situated on a Cliff it gives a great view from all rooms on the resort. The rooms were fine and clean. Although first of we were boven the room behind the seafood restaurant next door which was riddled with bugs. This was caused by the kitchen from the restaurant which for instance had rubbish containers by the kitchen. All other rooms and communal spaces were clean andere well maintained. For newyears eve they put up a great fireworks show from the bottom of the cliff. It was a spectacle in itsself tot het the stuff down there haha. All in all we had a great stay and because of its location a peacefull place tot sleep, yet handily situated for exploration of the 2 popular beach locations.

Pros: rooms are quiet and have good A/C. Free breakfast. Moderately friendly staff. Cons: from top to bottom 180 stairs. Hotel is run down and in need of maintenance. Wi-fi access is extreamly poor, showers are Luke warm at best. My wife and I stayed here 9 days. We wish it was only 3-4. Things that say they are included (ex. Airport shuttle) are not. (This is an extra 400-500 bht each way). Food from restaraunt is not fantastic.
