Koh Ngai Resort

The resort has a private beach with very different rooms, bungalows. The plant has already become somewhat old, but is cleaned every day. The service is very friendly and endeavours to meet all wishes.

Ok, it's an old resort that's not very nice with all the concrete and would also need a renovation, but the great location with its own beach, the small reef in front and the pier where you can easily land by ferry make up for all the shortcomings. In the area there are many birds, even rhino birds and varans. In addition, all staff are very helpful and friendly. We booked a week and stayed 10 days Our beach bungalow was well equipped with AC, fridge, kettle and very large terrace with chairs. Sun loungers are available (unfortunately some in poor condition) and beach towels, as well as snorkeling equipment, kayaking and games are provided free of charge. The restaurant serves good curry, but also pizza and French fries, etc. I cannot recommend the massage; but there are obviously differences and is dependent on the person. In any case, it is not hygienic, as the same cloths are used for all customers. What is worthwhile is to book a trip by longtail boat to the neighboring islands via reception. We had a nice crew and could discover a lot of beautiful things. Tip: Comfortable arrival from Koh Lanta Old Town Pier by petpailin boat directly to the Hotel Pier; this avoids the unpleasant speedboats that often land only on the main beach.

Beautiful small resort on the east side of Koh Ngai island. The beach and grounds are gorgeous, hotel is located near the ferry/longtail boat dock. The accommodation is more basic, but the rooms have AC, Wi-Fi and there is a pool and nice restaurant with bar, plus the views are to die for. We had dinner twice at the restaurant and every meal was delicious.
