Had a wonderful week here in early March. Lived in a standard building on the second floor. The property is small but very picturesque, the room had a beautiful view of the trees and garden, in the evening there were very many sounds of nature, and in the morning rhino birds were observed. The staff try, room and grounds cleaning every day, haircuts, throws, everything clean, well-kept. Special attention should be paid to the pool, very beautiful, made in the Bali style. Breakfast for cod is super, there's a coffee machine, very delicious yogurt, several kinds of fruit, the food changed every day, everything is very delicious. Lonley Beach, in my opinion, is one of the best on Chang, the water is clear, even in the waves standing up to the neck you can see the toes. There's a snorkel by the rocks, modestly, but colorful fish are present. To evening civilization, when leaving the hotel you need to walk three minutes to the right, and you can also walk on the beach. Lonley Beach and Bumiyama Hotel is advised to visit, the place is a little wild, but the atmosphere is very steep, chic sea and picturesque coast with jungle and mountain views. The hotel itself, given its cost, is much better than it could have been.

If I could give it a 3.5 I think that would be a fairer score as 3 is possibly a little low. The bedroom was just "fine" but the bed was the most uncomfortable I had slept in during my visit to Thailand. I did advise reception and they provided two mattress toppers but the bed was just too solid. The staff were lovely and the grounds and pool nice. The whole place is just a little dated. We didn't mind that you have to eat in the resort next door but I think we preferred staying in the resort next door as we also stayed their for one night and the level of comfort was much higher and much more modern. Hopefully they are renovating the place as it needs it and the shower etc isn't particularly great with water pressure and temp. There are nicer places to stay on lonely beach and nearby.

We are currently there.hotel very good , top location, swimming pool top .The staff very well at the front desk, such as gardeners, room staff etc. Possibility of renting scooters with the welcome ,idem for excursions.I think the hotel was once a resort worthy of a 4 star. Too bad the spa, restaurant and pool bar are no longer in service. A little maintenance work on the buildings would make this place ideal.We will remember above all from this country their extreme kindness we will return there it is certain.
