Shabby hotel with mold smell in the rooms. The beds were so hard it felt like lying on the floor. Did not get any hot water in the shower. The water was either freezing cold or so hot that they couldn't shower. The water in the pool was cloudy and the pool was very cold. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have booked a standard double room for 6 nights at the end of December 2024 via Agoda. Our initially positive impression in the stylish lobby would soon be reversed. Our room was on the 4th floor. Stock No. 422. We quickly realized that the pool, which was already greenish on arrival, became more and more polluted over the days and basically the cleaning staff is not doing a good job. Broken entrance doors, unbooked rooms open for days on end and a reception desk that was no longer staffed from early evening were not exactly conducive to a good impression. The entire hotel looks unkempt, orphaned and partly empty. There is no hotel kitchen/café/breakfast or other catering although the decor would be there. They also offer laundry service but overpriced and we could observe from our balcony several times how it simply blew clothes away from guests when drying. Now to the room: during the 6 nights was cleaned only 2x but without bath / WC / floors / sink because soap stains etc were visible throughout and dirt in the drains of previous guests could be seen. Also surfaces in the room from the bed box or table were available from the previous guest at check-in and we cleaned them ourselves. Also (unlike usual) no soap is obtained for the sink. There were 3x fresh towels and daily toilet paper and 2 bottles of water. The latter is not even decently placed in the room, but on the floor in front of the door of the completely open hallway, so that the drinks are heated by the sunlight and the plastic becomes quite soft, so actually inedible. In the bathroom, water was constantly leaking from a vent or the foot of the toilet, which was of course a little unappetizing. Since cleaning was not done, we had to mop up with one of the towels. Here we found that paint came loose from joints/tiles and dirty the towel. Despite this poor service, we actually wanted to be charged a "ruined" towel at checkout. The hotel also really doesn't look like the photos.

Pretty good value for the price. Not far from the beach and towards the end of the main street. Bars and restaurants close by. Room is a good size. Beds very low but comfortable. Decent bathroom with good shower and hot water. Decent balcony but furniture tatty although it looked like other rooms had new, nice balcony seating. Nice pool. We were in a room at the back overlooking the jungle. Nice and quiet. Front rooms appear to have better furniture on balcony but are by a busy road.
