Sang Aroon Bungalow

If you want relaxation in the afternoon/evening - FORGET IT! 2 bars next to each other at each side of the tesort, both trying to out do each other on volume. Horrific! Worse if you manage to book one of the 3 beach front ‘villas’. Godawful racket with people sat right outside your door On the plus side - all shut up and gone by 11:00 Rooms are VERY basic and seem to get cleaned every other day. Reception is most unhelpful. Don’t arrive anytime before 14:00 to check in - they are not interested and do nothing to help Our beachfront room had the strangest set up in terms of bathroom. Essentially a wet room, but that only works if there’s nothing else in there - so after a shower everything is soaking wet!! Very odd Book with caution

Arrived at the hotel after a long journey there. I booked this hotel on booking.com a few weeks before arrival. When I got there I showed my paperwork to the hotel of my confirmation. I booked a sea view bungalow which was clearly displayed on the paperwork and on the app I booked the hotel on. Sea view bungalow costs more than the standard garden bungalow. The owner kept saying you have only booked a garden bungalow and if we wanted to stay in the sea view bungalow it would cost us more. We kept going round in circles with this. I booked this in advance as this was my honeymoon. I ended up leaving and finding alternative accomodation. I have contacted booking.com asking for a refund. It could be an error from booking.com upon booking. I think it is more likely a scam from sangaroon bungalows. It is low season and very quiet. Just feel they were trying to scam me out of more money and cause of their poor English they thought they might get away with it. I won't ever stay there again. Ended up staying somewhere nicer. In the meantime I am waiting for a refund from booking.com.

Cozy little bungalow directly on the beach. We were here in the off-season and some evenings there was a storm and the waves went high. My wife woke up in the middle of the night and had to put a towel under the door because it splashed in seawater. A well-functioning wifi there was and we had no problem with either mosquitoes or sand fleas.
