V.J. Bed & Breakfast Koh Chang

Great budget hotel. Nice pool area, sufficient breakfast. Friendly staff. Room cleaning service perfect. Keep in mind Those 5 star reflects the cheap price for this hotel. 6 min walk from hotel is a breath taking beach....

😊 because out of the way location nice and quiet, good size room, swimming pool good size plenty chairs, walk to nice clean beach 10 minutes but nothing there no chairs, no toilets, but can get massage, no food available at hotel, but plenty good places to eat on main road 5 minute walk (through dark dirty unlit back road.) car parking good. a/c worked ok, furniture all good quality. 😒 pool could do with a clean as shows thick black marks on water line, staff not the friendliest i have meet, (not 24 hour reception) , had to complain about bedding as had blood stains on duvet cover, towels very old you can see through them, TV very poor nothing in English apart from news! wifi waste of time if that matters, it did to me. very basic doors to rooms have gaps alround so noise could be a problem if hotel busy. no safe in room., has a kettle in room but no cups or mugs! we found strange, last when we left just starting construction on land next door.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and it is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at and the price was very high pr. night. Everything was very badly maintained and they did not have the rooms we had paid for when we arrived and the lady at the reception was very unpleasant. After 3 days with the worst bed I have ever slept in we finally got the rooms we had booked but was not offered anything for staying in a lower priced room for the 3 days. The pool had nice water but was full af cracks and had green and black algea all around the sides (kids pool had the most algea). Room cleaning was medium at best. Breakfest was madium to ok but not much veriation. Our bathroom was a small swimmingpool because the drain was in the opposite corner then where the water was going (toilet and shower at the same place) and I could go on and on.... it has a good location to the beach and shopping.
