For me, who grew up in Lomé before moving to Europe, the name of Hotel Mercure Sarakawa has always evoked a prestigious, charming and above all idyllic place. I have long dreamed of setting foot there one day. It was therefore during my stay in Togo, on the occasion of a fashion festival, that I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment. Let’s not talk much, let’s talk well: I love this hotel. Do you like security? Then you'll be served. Checking vehicles at the entrance of the car park (free of charge), checking luggage with detector at the entrance of the lobby... everything is put in place to guarantee the tranquility of guests. The front desk staff is very professional and the baggage handlers are particularly efficient. The rooms are very nice. For my part, I had an unobstructed view of the street, which was a real pleasure for me, a native of the area, because I could see the surrounding neighborhoods on the horizon. Ladies and gentlemen, the expression “breakfast” takes on its full meaning in this hotel. From savoury to sweet, the buffet is very varied. Special mention to the cook who prepares a delicious blank cake every morning: a real treat! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or other services, but I am sure I will come back one day to relive this childhood dream. Many thanks to all the staff: the reception, the teams on the floors (with impeccable service) and the staff of the bars and restaurants. Thanks also to the management for ensuring that our stay was a total success. I will come back... not only for the cake:) , but also for the security of the place, the warm welcome and the true sense of hospitality. See you soon

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. Comfortably installed in the lobby sofas with welcome drinks served. The rooms have been completely renovated. The estate is huge with the largest swimming pool in West Africa. 3 restaurants available to find the meal that suits you. The Friday evening barbecue and the large Sunday lunch buffet are to be tried. The hotel also has a nightclub. very good value for money! Anyway, I recommend.
