We have spent many summer holidays in Tunisia, but in JUNE 2026 we visited Djerba for the first time and stayed at El Mouradi Menzel Djerba. I can honestly say that this was one of the best vacations we have ever had! We were a group of more than 50 friends from Belgrade, Serbia, traveling with our children for a family holiday. We stayed at the hotel for 16 nights, and if work had not called us back home, we would have happily stayed even longer. The hotel is very large, yet extremely well organized, and everything runs smoothly. It is true that it is one of the older hotels on Djerba, but this is hardly noticeable and certainly does not affect the overall experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food is varied, delicious, and of excellent quality. A special compliment goes to the beach restaurant, where you can enjoy a fantastic lunch just a few steps from the sea. Every member of the staff—from the housekeeping team and waiters to the animation team—was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I would especially like to thank the reception staff, who welcomed us with smiles every day and did everything they could to fulfill every request we had. The hotel has three very clean swimming pools, including two saltwater pools and waterslides, offering something for everyone. The beach is wide, sandy, and beautiful, with crystal-clear water. I was particularly impressed that the hotel staff cleaned the beach every single day, keeping it spotless. The Wi-Fi in the reception area works very well, and the SPA is also excellent. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for money. Honestly, I cannot think of anything negative to say. Because of that, I simply cannot agree with some of the overly critical reviews that focus on small, insignificant details and allow them to ruin an otherwise wonderful holiday. The best proof of our experience is that more than 50 people from our group returned home happy, satisfied, and already looking forward to coming back again.
