Hotel Solymar

There was not one thing in the hotels blog that was close to being accurate. room was as the whole hotel was ,very dirty. The food was sadly not edible and I have never had for dinner a plate put down of the patrons without having being asked what they would like for dinner. For your own sanity do not go .

The hotel description is completely wrong! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They state smoke free but every morning there was cigarettes all over the lobby, wild birds live inside the hotel. No taxi service near or from the hotel. Food is not available after hours even if paid for, the area around the hotel is Dangerous and with stray animals. The only place that serves food is 15mins walk away. No local transportation. Rooms are dirty and not well kept, no mini fridge/tv in all rooms. Reception is unable/unwilling to call a local taxi. We only stayed 3 nights and this was too much. No point in complaining to staff as nothing will happen. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs
